Transportation

By plane

Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) (~15 km from the venue) is the main international airport serving Barcelona. You can get to the venue by several means:

  • By taxi: Around 20–30 minutes to the venue (Carrer de Casanova, 143), depending on traffic (~€30–35).
  • By Aerobús: Take the A1 (from Terminal 1) or A2 (from Terminal 2) to Gran Via – Comte Borrell (~30 minutes, €7.75 one way, €13.30 round-trip) and then take the bus V11 (towards Bonanova) to Casanova – Hospital Clínic (~10 minutes, €2.90).
  • By metro: From either terminal, take L9 Sud (orange line) to Collblanc (~25-30 minutes, €5.90) then take metro L5 (Blue Line) to Hospital Clínic (~20 minutes), and a short ~5-minute walk.
  • By train: From Terminal 2, there is a R2 Nord train (€2.90) to Barcelona Sants station (~20 minutes), but currently it is not recommended as the service is often unstable.

By train

For national or international trains, arrive at Barcelona Sants station (~2.5 km from the venue).

  • From Sants, take metro L5 (Blue Line) towards Vall d’Hebron (€2.90) and stop at Hospital Clínic (~10 minutes), then walk ~5 minutes to the venue.
  • Tickets and schedules: www.renfe.com. High-speed trains from Madrid take around 3 hours.

By bus

Long-distance buses from Spanish cities or European destinations arrive at Barcelona Nord bus station (~4 km from the venue).

  • From there, take bus 54 (towards Cardenal Reig) until Còrsega – Aribau stop (~20–25 minutes), then walk ~5 minutes to the venue.
  • Companies such as FlixBus and ALSA operate routes starting from €10–50, depending on the origin and season.

By car

The venue is located in the Eixample district. Driving in Barcelona can be busy, and parking in the area is limited. Paid public parking garages are available near the venue.

  • Approx. 20-35 minutes from the airport via C-31 and Gran Via.
  • Parking costs around €3–4 per hour or €20–25 per day. Use apps like Parclick or B:SM to find and reserve parking spots in advance.

Public transportation

  • To move around Barcelona, we suggest you acquire the T-casual at any metro or train station (€13), which is a personal, 10-journey ticket used for public transport within the Barcelona metropolitan area (metro, bus, tram). It has a one-year duration and needs to be charged on a €1 T-mobilitat, a non-personalised rechargeable card. Note that this ticket cannot be bought in the airport metro stations nor in buses.
  • Single metro, train and bus tickets can also be purchased for €2.90 per journey (you can pay by card on the bus or buy a single ticket from the metro ticket machines).
  • There are also other cards with unlimited journeys for a specific period of time (24-48-72h etc). They are more expensive but include metro service to the airport (L9 Sud). Check prices here: https://www.holabarcelona.com/tickets/hola-bcn-barcelona-travel-card
