Konstantinos Ioannou

Konstantinos Ioannou holds a medical degree and an MSc in neuroscience.

During his MSc studies, he gained broad experience in both molecular and computational neuroscience. Currently, Konstantinos Ioannou is a PhD student at Prof. Nordberg’s Translational Molecular Imaging Lab at Karolinska Institutet.

His research focuses on tracking the interplay between protein deposition and neuroinflammatory response in dementia disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, measured with multimodal imaging (i.e., PET, MRI) and biofluid (i.e., CSF, plasma) markers.
