Luigi Lorenzini

Luigi Lorenzini is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine of the Vrije University Medical Center (Amsterdam) and at the University of Genoa.

He obtained his PhD under the supervision of Professor Frederik Barkhof in Amsterdam, where he focused on multimodal neuroimaging approaches to identify innovative early biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease.

His research interests include the integration of imaging techniques using advanced multivariate analysis, the study of brain connectivity, and the exploration of the biological relevance of imaging phenotypes through multiomics approaches.
