Transportation

By plane

Two airports nearby (Caen-Carpiquet & Deauville Normandie) or Paris airports

• Caen-Carpiquet (~7km). A bus runs between the airport and Caen city centre: bus line 3, direction “IFS Jean Vilar”, Stop at “Théatre quai 2″, “Saint Jean Eglise” or “Place du 36ème” to be in the center (the latter will be the closest stop to Le Dôme). Information bus TWISTO
• Deauville Normandie (~60km). To get to Caen, you’ll need to take a train. From the airport, take a taxi go to the Trouville-Deauville train station (~10min) and then take a train to Caen
• Paris Orly and Paris Charles de Gaulle(~220km). Buses and trains run between Paris and Caen (see details below).

By train

By bus

The bus companies Flixbus and Blablacar operates direct lines between Paris (including Paris airports) and Caen train station (~3h30)

By car

At approximately 250 km (150 miles) west of Paris, with an average time less than 2h30 from Paris airports (Charles de Gaulle or Orly) via the A13 Highway (toll of ~11.70 €)

By boat

Ferries sail daily from Portsmouth (Great Britain) to Ouistreham (18 km from Caen): www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/

Take bus twisto line 12EX to “Ouistreham port” in direction Caen and stop to “Gare station” (40mn) then 5mn walk to arrive at “Le Dôme”
