Held at the University’s Historic Building, a landmark of 19th-century architecture and one of the most emblematic sites of Barcelona’s academic heritage, this special event will mark the official start of the conference with elegance and connection.

7:00pm – OFFICIAL WELCOME, PARANIMF OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BARCELONA

The evening begins with an official welcome by the Rector of the University of Barcelona, Joan Guàrdia, in the breathtaking Paranimf, one of the most iconic halls of the Historic Building, known for its rich ornamentation and ceremonial grandeur. A distinguished academic leader with a background in methodology, statistics, neuroimaging, and neurodevelopmental disorders, he combines extensive research experience with long-standing leadership in university governance.

7:30pm – COCKTAIL RECEPTION, UNIVERSITY GARDENS

Following the welcome, guests will move to the beautiful university gardens for a cocktail reception in a truly spectacular setting—offering a unique opportunity to connect and enjoy the atmosphere in a historic and serene environment.
